What makes you identify as a goth?

Our music and fashion.

What does a typical day in your week look like?

Lots of mysterious, gothic, glam fashion and accessories mixed with 80’s gothic, rock and metal music!

What are your 3 favorite things to do with your spare time?

Music, travel, good cooking, enjoying fine cuisine and international pastries. In addition, we enjoy working out and speaking foreign languages. Between the two of us, we speak English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.

What motivated you to become rockstars?

Listening to good 70’s and 80’s music.

Talk about the biggest failure you've had. What did you learn from it?

Well, unfortunately, glam gothic rock isn’t as well-known among the masses as, say, rap, reggeton, and modern pop music. Since it is less well-known, we have learned perseverance and how to be uniquely creative doing our own thing regardless of what other artists are doing. We have created our own path.

What has been your biggest success story? Why do you think it was a success?

The release of our latest CD EP Make Out, Make Love (Glam Versions) because in both sound and aesthetic it’s uniquely different to anything else out there. The CD is one of a kind. This has in turn helped us to finally launch our own online shop with music and lots of gothic and New Aristocrats’ fashion and accessories for people to enjoy.

What keeps you going when things get tough in this business?

Our creativity, courage, and perseverance keep us going. We have made what we do “fun” in order to persevere and be courageously creative. 😉

Where do you get your glam outfits?

From different gothic shops and fashion brands around the world during our travels, in particular from cities like Berlin, Hollywood, and London.

Whats coming up next from the band?

  • In July 2019, we released a remixed and remastered version of our original 1988 dance-pop Knight Time / Knight & Day song “I’ve Been Watching You” that was featured twice in the 1988 comedy movie Assault of the Killer Bimbos.
  • In Fall 2019, we’ll release our new scarier Glam Gothic Rock version of “I’ve Been Watching You.”
  • At the end of 2019, we’ll release our new full glam gothic rock album of 10 songs on vinyl, as a CD, and as a digital download.
  • Throughout this year we are doing blog interviews and radio interviews, as several of our songs are being played on the radio. Just recently, we did a blog interview with the Japanese gothic-visual kei Sanctuary of Mana and a radio interview with the Spanish national radio station Radio Inter in Madrid.
